Capgemini is now a recognized lab for IoXt certification

Capgemini’s commitment to data security and threat information will help businesses secure their digital transformation processes and enhance their IT assets while increasing operational safety.

Capgemini has been added to the ioXt Approved Laboratories Certification Programme by the ioXt Alliance. This is the international standard in IoT Security. Capgemini has a long history of working with companies to help them transform their business and improve operations through technology. Authorised labs are the exclusive third-party suppliers for ioXt Alliance. Authorised labs carry out all testing required for IoT devices that are certified by ioXt, and display the ioXt SmartCert Mark, which provides security assurance to consumers and businesses.

Capgemini works with leading technology companies to maximize the performance of systems and processes, provide a personalised experience for customers, and unlock data’s potential. Capgemini uses a wealth of experience to meet the needs of companies in four different domains: Engineering, Operations, Applications and Technology, and Strategy and Transformation. Capgemini’s global network of cyber defence and testing centres allows it to offer testing services to ioXt clients around the globe.

The ioXt Alliance, the only international IoT device certification and security programme led by industry, is the world’s first. Its certification profiles were developed by leading firms in technology, device manufacturing, and other sectors. Consumers and retailers are more confident in products that carry the ioXt smartCert mark.

The ioXt certification program evaluates products based on the eight ioXt principles, with a particular focus on security and upgradability. It also focuses on transparency and compliance. The devices must be tested using clear guidelines to quantify the ideal level security required for a device within a particular product category. Once a device has been tested and found to meet or exceed the required requirements, it is given the ioXt smartCert label.
