Gujrat now has 5G in all districts

Telecom provider will introduce 5G initiatives in Gujarat, which will be later expanded to the rest of the country. These efforts will be focused on Industry 4.0, Agriculture, Education, Healthcare, and the Internet of Things.

Reliance Jio has announced on Friday that its 5G service is now available in all 33 districts of Gujarat. Gujarat is the first state in the country to offer 5G services across all 33 districts.

Reliance Industries’ telecom provider has started testing its 5G service in Delhi-NCR and other cities, including Varanasi. Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru. Mumbai, Pune. Nathdwara. The company offers unlimited, cost-free 5G data speeds of over 1 GB/second.

The telecom provider will also begin in Gujarat several 5G-powered projects in agriculture, education and healthcare, as well as in industry 4.0 and the Internet of Things, before extending them to the rest of the country.

Reliance Foundation will collaborate with Jio to digitalise 100 public schools in the state. This includes enabling 5G connectivity, enhanced content platforms and school management platforms. It will also include platforms for communication between teachers and students.
