UK Carrier BT Unveils A New IoT Nationwide Roaming SIM Solution

This new service provides reliable and prompt data transmission, even to rural areas. It also gives real-time updates about delivery schedules and fuel consumption.

According to BT, UK-based carrier BT has recently introduced IoT National roaming SIMs for business. These SIMs ensure connectivity for smart devices anywhere in the UK. These SIMs are primarily designed to work on the EE Network (BT’s subsidiary EE), but can connect to other UK networks as needed to deliver data quickly and reliably, no matter where they are.

BT says that the new service is especially useful for delivery and courier businesses, as it gives them a reliable and fast network connection no matter where they are located – whether in a big city or a rural region. The new IoT services will also allow delivery drivers to receive vital information in real time, including updates on delivery schedules and fuel consumption.

With BT’s IoT National Roaming Service, businesses will have access to a secure admin portal that allows them to protect sensitive data and keep track of all their smart devices. Businesses will only pay for data used with the new IoT-SIMs because BT sells its IoT-national roaming service to the same price as the IoT-pay-per-use SIM service.

If you’re a frequent traveler, you won’t be using the new IoT roaming service. If you are looking for a great deal on a smartphone, check out our article about the best EE phone offers.
